Confidence
Confidence Make Ordinary Folk Achieve Unusual Attainments
Preserve your self-confidence don't lose it! Imagine the
predicament of a boy who had a hearing problem and so could not
understand teacher's instructions well. He was labeled a
mentally weak kid, who had no brains for studies and was thrown
out of the school! This kid was the great Thomas Alva
Edison.
Now would you agree with the college that he was dumb? How
is it feasible, then, for a dumb kid to patent more than one
thousand inventions more than the collective patents of all of
the scientists of his time? The credit goes to his mummy for
not letting him lose his self esteem. Such is the power of self
confidence that galvanizes folks to achieve great attainments.
Einstein, after hearing about the way Mahatma Gandhi was out to
free his country by trying non-violence as a weapon, said that
it might be tricky for future generations to envision that such
a man had walked down this planet. Gandhi's self-esteem worked
and his country was liberated. If it is a patriot protecting
his state's border, a swimmer giving all to get the gong for
his country, a musician performing to a packed hall, a kid
reciting poem to her class, a fire-fighter fighting to save
folk, all of them have something in common which makes them
stand aside from folks. These folk have an I am able to angle
towards life. They are full of self confidence. Develop
self-confidence among your folks Companies have been observed
to use tools like teamwork to impress self-confidence in their
people.
Folks are the best asset an organization can have. Jack
Welch the boss of GE thought the best idea wins, irrespective
of where it comes from. So how will we get this best idea? It
can only come from the folk out there.
So it's important to make each person feel himself to be an
important part of the organization who has all the chance to
learn, understand and develop the self-esteem to communicate
out his concepts. Concepts are a genuine treasure for a company
to have, and it's self esteem that brings great ideas to the
forefront. There are countless examples in the history where a
single person of bravery modified the course of events. Be it
Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi or Mum Teresa, all used their
patience, perseverance, compassion and self-esteem to remain
put on the trail they'd selected. Imagination the cradle of
self-confidence! Our imagination is an example of the best
gifts that God have given us. Our imagination can stretch to
any lengths. So much so that your own imagination has the power
to do or die you. Though what you imagine yourself to be might
be miles away from precise truth, it's your imagination that
dictates your feelings and emotions.
What makes a successful person different from a failure is
essentially the way both think. If at a T-point you take the
way to Town A, you will reach Town A. If you decide to head to
the other direction to Town B, you may reach Town B. It's so
simple as that. You get what you need. So be wary of your
wants. You would like what you imagine, so imagine great things
for yourself. Folks with low self confidence typically imagine
themselves as not doing well in their roles, at home, in
relations and so on. Whereas somebody with self confidence
would imagine himself getting a promotion in the subsequent 2
years, having a family, children, pay rise, vacations, owning a
home and so on. So be a self-confident person and
fantasize.
Fantasizing is good for you.
Fantasize about all what you want to have for you. Meeting
great folk, shouldering great responsibilities, going places,
and turning into the person you want to become. This may be a
way to feed your mind with required inputs and your mind has
the power to give solutions. Tell your mind the right things to
do, and your mind will get you what you wanted. Believe it.
It's true!
